Did you watch it? Thanks to Steffi for pointing me to it. I thought of the video again today, how serendipitous on Day 10 of my first Art Every Day Month, the day when Jamie Ridler interviewed McCabe on Creative Living with Jamie. McCabe talks about owning the label of artist for ourselves, which really resonated with me, as that’s what I’m all about this week. Earning my wings by earning my paint and pens, one doodle at a time.

i just read your “more about you” page and could sworn it was my page!
It took me the longest time to say “I am an artist” even though that’s what I’d been all my life.
I still choke on the words occasionally…But I’m learning.
I’m learning to say it loud and say it strong.
But yeah, I appreciate your bravery….let’s be brave together!
