Had grand ideas for this one and wasn’t too pleased with the results. Was originally waiting on a shadow box for this wing-key duo, but decided to use what I had, took the glass out of this frame that was headed to Goodwill and mounted it. It seems to be missing something. But I like the message, which was what spoke to me seeing the key and wings together like that.
Yesterday I did a whole mess of ATCs but I don’t have photos of them yet. Maybe I will scan them in the next few days.

Oh, I think you are too hard on your art. I love the colors, the quote, and most especially the figure created by combining the key and the wings.
The only thing I don’t like is the frame. I’m thinking it’s not a match. Maybe paint it white, with a thin line of color round the inner edge where the gold is now? I think you’ll know how to make it pop, if you give the answer time to come to you. My instinctive feeling is that it needs to feel much brighter, to match the lovely and spirited piece. :)
